portable operations in DU

Hello!
I am still not sure about the status of portable operation with a guest licence.
I hold a guest license (DU1/OE3SGU), registered for our QTH in Antipolo City. When going somewhere else in DU do I have to apply for another license for that particular location OR can I just sign with the regional code, e.g. DU5/OE3SGU or DU9/OE3SGU or whatever? We want to return to DU in late 2010 and this time I would like to operate from some different islands.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Hannes,
When operating temporarily or mobile from another District you would normally sign with your call/District number.
For example DU1GM/3. If you plan to stay any length of time in another District you should inform the NTC office there. I think you would not normally be allowed to operate outside of the address mentioned on your reciprocal license. Portable operation also requires a special permit from NTC. Reciprocal permits are usually tied to the QTH you put on the application and mobile operation is not allowed. Local licenses permit mobile as well as home address operation.
I think you could apply for another reciprocal license for the District you wish to visit so that the address is registered on your permit.

Thanks George, I was not really sure about the matter. Next year Michelle and I want to stay some time in a resort, probably in Palawan or elsewhere and this time I want to distribute some IOTA-points to the ham-community.
