Steps in getting Amateur Radio License (ARSL) or Radio Amateur Operator Certificate (RAOC)

Attend the PARA Inc. Orientation at the 5th Floor of the NTC Building Multipurpose Hall in Quezon City. The orientation is held quarterly from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. To reserve a slot, call (+63917) 1564715 or email para1932@gmail.com.

The cost is P300, which covers the Orientation Handbook, "So You Want To Be A Ham." This essential guide for beginners also serves as a reviewer and future reference and includes a Certificate of Attendance. The orientation itself is free.

For the Application for Exam - Amateur (new), visit http://para.org.ph/ntc-forms.html to download the form, which lists all necessary requirements.

Exams are held every Friday at the NTC Building, 5th Floor in Quezon City, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Arrive by 7:30 AM, as latecomers will not be accepted. Examinees will assemble on the ground floor and will be called up just before the start of the exam. Topics discussed in the orientation will appear on the exam. There is no cost for the exam.
