There are two routes available:
1. Life member/Lifetime International Lifetime Associate/International Associate
Contact the PARA Secretariat via email para1932@gmail.com signifying your intent to join as a life member or international associate. Pay the appropriate fee to the PARA Secretariat. Please demand for a receipt. PARA Secretariat will then issue you your PARA identification card. Check the PARA website to confirm that your name is on the roster.
2. Regular member/Student Member
Apply for membership with a PARA affiliated club. A list of affiliated clubs is on https://www.para.org.ph/para-club-affiliation.html. Please click on the appropriate district number where you wish to join a club. Google for the contact information of the club and find out their application procedure. Once you become a member of their club, you may pay for the PARA annual dues and therefore become affiliated with PARA. Ensure that your club’s treasurer will remit your PARA dues to the PARA Secretariat. After the PARA Secretariat receives your dues from your club treasurer, the PARA Secretariat will then issue your PARA identification card which you may claim from your club treasurer.
Check the PARA website to confirm that your name is on the roster.
1. Can I affiliate with PARA even if I do not have a ham radio license? ANSWER: Yes, you may. By joining a PARA affiliated club, you will become affiliated with PARA and will be well on your way to finding friendly hams who will assist you in getting your very own ham radio license.
Individuals based in the Philippines comprise the regular membership of PARA. It is renewable annually, and effective until the 31st of December of the current year.
Foreign individuals fall under this category. Membership is also renewable on an annual basis and effective until the 31st of December of the current year.
Individuals based in the Philippines who wish to avail of permanent, lifetime membership at a one-time, reduced amount.
Foreign individuals who wish to avail of permanent, lifetime membership at a one-time, reduced amount.
Student’s membership follows the school/college etc year, from June to June. The subscription cost is lower than other levels but benefits are the same.
