PARA Inc. and BSP Forge Partnership for Amateur Radio in Scouting

The Philippine Amateur Radio Association (PARA) Inc. has officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) on February 25, 2025, at the BSP National Office, Manila.

This landmark partnership aims to integrate amateur radio into scouting activities, enhance emergency communications training, and promote youth engagement in radio operations for Professional Staff, Scouts, and Scout Leaders.

PARA Inc. was represented by President Ramon O. Purugganan, DU1CHN, while BSP was represented by National President Hon. Dale R. Corvera and Director IV (Secretary General) Dir. Kim Robert S. De Leon.

This collaboration marks a significant step in empowering the next generation with essential radio communication skills, fostering disaster preparedness, and strengthening community service initiatives.
