The orientation itself is free. You can visit http://para.org.ph/ntc-forms.html and download the Application for Exam - Amateur (new) form. The list of requirements are listed in the form.
Right after the orientation, PARA will issue a Certificate of Attendance and Exam Application Forms (just in case you haven't downloaded and filled up one prior to the orientation). Submit the filled up (indicate when you plan to take the exam) Exam Application Form together with the Certificate of Attendance (they will photocopy it) to the PARA office right then and there. Cost is P50 for the exam application fee and 2 self-addressed, stamped long white letter envelopes.
Exams are every WEDNESDAY at the NTC bldg in QC, 8AM to 10AM. Examinees will be asked to assemble first at the ground floor and will be called up just before start of exam. Topics that will be discussed in the orientation WILL come out in the exam. Pay nothing during the exam.
Either you wait for the results which comes out mid-afternoon same day as the exam (which means you’re at NTC the whole day) OR wait for it to come out online thru the NTC website or on FB. IF you wait for the results sa NTC after the exam, you can file for your Amateur Radio License (ARSL) or Radio Amateur Operator Certificate (RAOC) that same afternoon.
